OUR BEAUTIFUL CITY

Once you set foot in Puerto Escondido, your heart is hooked with the beauty of its beaches. In this corner of the Mexican Pacific, the days go by surfing, releasing turtles, admiring the sunset or simply lying under the sun's rays.

WHAT TO DO IN PUERTO ESCONDIDO?

One of the things to do in Puerto Escondido is to walk along the Adoquín, the first paved street of the destination. This artery is full of musicians, craft shops and shops alluding to surfing, small bars to drink a mojito and restaurants to eat seafood or a wood-fired pizza. At night, the street is pedestrianized, which allows for a relaxed walk.

Going from beach to beach is also another of the favorite activities when traveling to Puerto Escondido. Boats leave from the Main Beach to meet the turtles and dolphins. Zicatela the queen of giant waves. Bachoco beach is ideal for a walk. La Punta, a beach for bohemian travelers who like a youthful and relaxed atmosphere. Finally, we arrive at the Magical Town of Mazunte with its turtle camps open almost all year round and sister beach, Zipolite, the only nudist beach in Mexico.

Very close to Puerto Escondido is the Manialtepec Lagoon and the Chacahua Lagoons. The most popular tour takes place at night to appreciate the phenomenon of bioluminescence.
